We have an exciting role within a well-established and busy marketing solutions business. Our client is looking for a strong and ambitious Account Manager to sit within its sales team – someone who can hit the ground running, working across numerous high-profile accounts covering most business sectors.

This company is involved in the supply and management of high-volume data driven document print, direct mail and ecommerce fulfilment to numerous national and international clients. This is a key client facing role and involves deciphering client project briefs from scratch, creating accurate cost estimates and schedules, negotiating with suppliers [including an element of outsourced print management], along with job set ups and internal briefings.

There is direct client contact so confidence and self-assurance is a must. This role is one that will give a conscientious and dynamic individual an opportunity to learn quickly and become a key player within this fast-paced department where every day is different. This position would ideally suit an individual who relishes the chance to develop a career within the ‘Direct Mail’ and ‘Ecommerce Fulfilment’ sector, and someone who is keen to become a key player within an established Glasgow based marketing solutions business.

Experience within this sector would be ‘beneficial’ but not essential.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem solver, with attention to detail.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Well organised and pro-active.
  • Works well under pressure and an expert multi-tasker.
  • Strong understating of back office systems, [preferably NetSuite].

Non-essential yet beneficial: An understanding of data driven ‘Direct’ and ‘Transactional’ mail, along with Ecommerce Fulfilment and distribution, [including postal and distribution services].

Day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Client communications via phone, email and face-to-face.
  • Project management including costings and scheduling.
  • Client relationship building.
  • Liaising with all internal departments.
  • Sourcing and procurement of project collateral.
  • Attending daily production planning meetings.
  • Working closely with internal staff to ensure project delivery.
