An innovative print company is seeking a high calibre candidate to take on the hands-on role of Operations Manager. They are looking for someone with a can-do positive attitude, comfortable in working in a diverse environment, with demonstrable leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects/initiatives.

Applying strong technical knowledge, you will take full responsibility for the day to day manufacturing operation of the business, ensuring all production targets are met.

Working towards set Key Performance Indicators agreed with the MD, you will assist in not only your personal success, but that of your team and the company. These key KPIs will be broken down into manageable projects and shared with the leadership team and communicated to the wider team. You will liaise with both own staff and with other departmental leaders to ensure objectives are met and that progress updates are shared and understood. High levels of inter-departmental communication and cooperation skills are therefore imperative characteristics for this role.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the recruitment, training and development of their team members, ensuring that they have the correct people, with the correct skills and attitudes to deliver high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction. Candidates must therefore have an aptitude for training and coaching team members.

Candidates must be used to going into a business, analysing existing automation and lean manufacturing processes and seek to improve them.
